Canopy Growth has appointed two new candidates to the roles of chief financial and operating officers of its U.S. subsidiary to focus more on growth in the country.

Canopy USA, which focuses on the U.S. cannabis market, on Monday said it appointed Casey Rash as chief financial officer and Rebecca Kirk to the role of chief operating officer.

Rash brings a wealth of experience in regulated industries and a strategic approach to driving organizational scale and efficiency, Canopy said, while Kirk brings expertise in building scalable systems and launching category-leading products.

"These leadership appointments mark the start of a plan to capture growth in the U.S. cannabis market," President Brooks Jorgensen said.

Additionally, Kelly Flores was appointed to the role of chief business development officer and will be responsible for marketing, market expansion and product strategy, said Canopy.
