PainReform (PRFX) said Tuesday its solar energy unit, DeepSolar, has been accepted into Nvidia's (NVDA) Connect Program.

Shares of PainReform surged roughly 66% as intraday trading volume catapulted to more than 154 million from a daily average of about 169,000.

Laser Photonics (LASE) shares soared 89% amid heavy trading intraday after the company reported late Monday a wider net loss and a 317% surge in revenue during Q2.

Nearly 116.3 million shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of more than 316,000.

Plymouth Industrial REIT (PLYM) said Tuesday it received an unsolicited, non-binding takeover proposal from Sixth Street Partners for $24.10 per share in cash.

Shares jumped 49%, with intraday trading volume at over 4.55 million versus a daily average of about 374,000.
