MetalsTech (ASX:MTC) completed an in-adit channel sampling program across multiple locations within the ore body at the Sturec gold project in Slovakia for metallurgical test work, and the samples have been composited and are en route for assay analysis, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

Recent prefeasibility study activities are focused on enhancing the metallurgical processing capabilities of the proposed underground gold and silver mine at Sturec, the filing added.

The assays will inform which samples will be selected for the detailed metallurgical test work.
