MEGAIN (HKG:6939) expects to report a net loss attributable to owners of the company of between 40 million yuan and 60 million yuan for the first half of 2025, compared with a profit of about 405,000 yuan a year earlier, according to a Tuesday bourse filing.
Shares of the cartridge chips maker lost over 4% in Wednesday's late-morning trade.
The company cited weaker margins in its compatible printer cartridge chips business, higher marketing and administrative expenses, and increased impairment provisions as key factors behind the loss.
