Lincoln Minerals (ASX:LML) said laboratory assay results confirmed a continuous mineralized system of copper-zinc-lead-silver, extending over seven kilometers of strike at the Minbrie project in South Australia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
It re-assayed previously unsampled historic core from a historic 2011 drilling program by Centrex Metals, which targeted iron ore. 172 core samples from seven drill holes in the Northern Minbrie area were analyzed.
The analysis yielded assays of 0.3 meters at 0.18% grade of copper, 2% grade of zinc, 4.6 grams-per-tonne grade of silver from 451 meters to 451.3 meters, as well as 0.7 meters at 3.1% grade of zinc, 0.46% grade of lead from 201.3 meters to 202 meters.
