Green Leader Holdings Group (HKG:0061) expects to post a net loss after tax of at least HK$155 million for the six months ended June 30, compared with a net profit of about HK$1.71 billion a year earlier, according to an Aug. 15 Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the mining firm were down over 15% in Monday's late-morning trade.
The turnaround was mainly due to the absence of a one-off gain of approximately HK$1.86 billion from the deemed disposal of subsidiaries recognized in the first half of 2024.
The company is still finalizing its interim results, which are expected to be published before the end of August.
