Transurban Group (ASX:TCL) said an organizational restructuring will provide the firm with annualized cost savings of over AU$50 million from fiscal 2026, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The development came amid progress on the New South Wales toll reform, and the firm said it was supportive of the proposed ombudsman changes, including toll notice digitization. It added that the state government had acknowledged the importance of respecting the value of existing contracts and revenue to concessionaires.
The company's shares were up almost 4% in recent Wednesday trade.
