South Manganese Investment (HKG:1091) reported HK$172.7 million yuan in attributable profit for the half ended June 30, reversing from a loss of HK$162.8 million yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Friday.
Earnings per share was HK$0.0473, compared with a loss of HK$0.0475 in the prior year.
Revenue fell 49% year on year to HK$2.91 billion, results showed.
Shares of the manganese company increased over 2% in morning trade Monday.
