China Wan Tong Yuan (HKG:6966) expects a loss and total comprehensive loss attributable to owners of between 9 million yuan and 10 million yuan in the first half of 2025, compared with a profit and total comprehensive income attributable to owners of 7.3 million yuan a year prior.
Shares of the burial service provider were down over 5% in Friday afternoon trading.
The firm attributed the forecast to a lower sales revenue, a higher taxation cost, and a drop in the fair value of financial assets at fair value through profit or loss, according to a late Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing.
