Amber International (AMBR) said Thursday that Michael Wu has been named as chief executive officer, succeeding Wayne Huo.

The company's board also appointed Vicky Wang as the president of the company, Amber International said.

Additionally, Luke Li, a co-founder of Amber Group, and Vicky Wang were appointed as new directors of the company, Amber International said.

Shares of the company were up over 2% in recent Thursday trading.
