Nanfang Communication (HKG:1617) said it expects to post a profit of about 25 million yuan to 30 million yuan for the first half of 2025, up from 5.5 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Thursday Hong Kong filing.
The improvement was mainly driven by lower raw material costs, which boosted margins, and a higher fair value gain on financial assets denominated in foreign currency, the company said.
