Vertiv Holdings Co has announced the successful completion of its acquisition of Great Lakes Data Racks & Cabinets. This strategic move enhances Vertiv's leadership in high-density integrated infrastructure solutions for data centers and critical digital environments. The acquisition, valued at approximately $200 million, bolsters Vertiv's offerings in rack, cabinet, and integration solutions for white space applications. According to Vertiv's CEO, Gio Albertazzi, the integration of Great Lakes will enhance Vertiv's capabilities to deliver comprehensive infrastructure solutions, particularly benefiting AI and high-density computing environments. Great Lakes, established in 1985 and headquartered in Edinboro, PA, will contribute its expertise in manufacturing and assembly facilities in the U.S. and Europe, further strengthening Vertiv's critical digital infrastructure offerings.
