Asian Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Edge Higher in Thursday Trading

Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were slightly higher on Thursday morning, up 0.04% to 2,458.00 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index.

From North Asia, the gainers were led by electric vehicle maker Xpeng (XPEV) and private education provider Lixiang Education (LXEH), which advanced 9.9% and 9.8%, respectively.

They were followed by fintech platform X Financial (XYF) and retailer Miniso (MNSO), which climbed 9.6% and 8.2%, respectively.

The decliners from North Asia were led by data center operator GDS (GDS) and e-commerce firm Dingdong (DDL), which were each falling 4.3%.

They were followed by Internet and data center service provider VNET (VNET), which dropped 4%, and technology firm Xunlei (XNET), down 3.6%.

From South Asia, the gainers were led by pharmaceutical company Dr Reddy's Laboratories (RDY) and financial services company HDFC Bank (HDB), which rose 2.2% and 0.7%, respectively.

The decliners from South Asia were led by technology company Infosys (INFY), which was shedding 0.3%.
