Hung Fook Tong Group Holdings Ltd. reported a decrease in revenue for the six months ended 30 June 2025. The company's revenue declined by 5.1% to HK$292.3 million, compared to HK$308.0 million for the same period in 2024. Despite a challenging economic environment in Hong Kong and Mainland China, the gross profit margin improved to 60.6% from 58.9% in the previous year, attributed to effective cost control and enhanced production efficiency. The company reported a loss attributable to owners of the Company amounting to HK$10.9 million for the period, which increased from a loss of HK$7.9 million in the corresponding period of 2024. This increase in loss was primarily due to one-off expenses of approximately HK$2.1 million related to additional sewage charges from prior years. Administrative and operating expenses decreased by 3.6% to HK$158.7 million, compared to HK$164.7 million in the first half of 2024. The Group maintains a stable financial position with cash and cash equivalents rising to HK$117.0 million as of 30 June 2025, up from HK$110.2 million at the end of December 2024.
