Air China (SHA:601111) flight from London to Beijing made an unscheduled landing in the Russian city of Nizhnevartovsk after a malfunction in one of the aircraft's engines, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing Russia's aviation authority.
The Boeing 777-300 touched down safely, with all 250 passengers accommodated at the airport for 13 hours, according to the report.
A replacement aircraft was dispatched to complete the journey, Reuters wrote.
