Terra Metals (ASX:TM1) received firm commitments to raise AU$15 million through the issue of 214.3 million shares to new and existing institutional and sophisticated investors, at AU$0.07 apiece, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The issue price represents a 10% discount to the stock's 15-day volume-weighted average price, the filing said.
Proceeds will be used to fund exploration and drilling at its Dante project in Western Australia and for general corporate purposes, the filing added.
Shares of the company rose past 2% in recent Thursday trade.
