CGI renewed a long-term contract with the State of New Jersey to work on its disaster-operations software.
The Canadian information-technology company said Tuesday that it will continue development, enhancement and support of New Jersey's State Integrated Recovery Operations Management Systems.
The SIROMS is a specialized software platform developed to help New Jersey's state agencies manage disaster-recovery efforts more efficiently and transparently.
CGI said it will continue to support New Jersey's readiness to respond to current and future natural disasters, enabling the state to manage federal recovery funds and better control the overall cost of natural-disaster recovery.
No financial details of the contract were disclosed.
