PICC Property and Casualty Company (HKG:2328) recorded a 32% rise in profit in the first half of 2025 to 24.5 billion yuan from 18.5 billion yuan in the year-ago period, a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The insurer's earnings per share were 1.099 yuan in the half year, up from 0.831 yuan in the corresponding period of the last year.
Insurance revenue in the six months increased 5.6% to 249 billion yuan from 235.8 billion yuan a year prior, driven mainly by growth in motor vehicle, accidental injury and health, and commercial property insurance.
The firm proposed an interim dividend of 0.24 yuan per share for the period.
