China CITIC Bank (HKG:0998, SHA:601998) recorded a 2.8% rise in attributable profit in the first half of 2025 to 36.5 billion yuan from 35.5 billion yuan in the year-ago period, a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The lender's earnings per share were 0.61 yuan in the half year, down from 0.64 yuan in the corresponding period of the last year.
Operating income in the six months fell 3% to 105.4 billion yuan from 108.6 billion yuan a year prior.
The bank proposed an interim dividend of 1.88 yuan per 10 shares for the period, payable Dec. 29 to shareholders of record on Nov. 10.
