** Shares in apparel co PVH Corp PVH.N up ~1% on Tuesday ahead of Q2 financial report due out after market close
** Wall Street sees the co, whose brands include Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein, reporting adj EPS of $2.01, down from $3.01 in Q2 2024 and revenue of $2.12 bln, slightly above its $2.07 bln year ago, according to latest data gathered by LSEG
** In last 8 quarters, PVH rev met or beat expectations 7 times, while EPS beat every time
** UBS analyst Jay Sole wrote that he sees PVH fundamentals "good enough in Q2 to allow the company to deliver a small Q2 EPS beat and keep its FY25 guidance unchanged." But he says the bar has been very high for softline stocks, so a guidance reiteration may not be "good enough"
** PVH, eyeing its fourth straight day of gains, last at $82.48 vs median PT of $82, down from $83 a month ago, as per LSEG, which shows 14 analyst ratings: 2 "strong buy", 6 "buy" and 6 "hold" ratings
** YTD the stock is down ~22% vs gain of ~4% for S&P 400 midcap index .IDX
