EPI (Holdings) Limited has released its interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2025. The Group reported a total segment revenue of HK$38.158 million, up from HK$36.841 million in the same period of 2024. This increase was driven primarily by the petroleum exploration and production segment, which saw its revenue rise from HK$32.605 million to HK$33.458 million. The solar energy segment also experienced growth, with revenues increasing from HK$3.759 million to HK$4.343 million. The Group's profit before tax for the period was HK$12.612 million, a substantial increase from HK$1.446 million in the previous year. After accounting for an income tax expense of HK$1.495 million, the Group's net profit for the period stood at HK$11.117 million, compared to HK$1.034 million for the same period in 2024. The money lending segment, however, reported a decrease in segment results after the provision of expected credit loss $(ECL)$, with a loss of HK$209,000 compared to a loss of HK$14,000 in the previous year. The investment in securities segment also showed a loss, with segment results decreasing from a loss of HK$532,000 in 2024 to a loss of HK$285,000 in 2025.
