China Metal Resources Utilization Ltd. has announced its interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2025. The company reported sales revenue of RMB339 million from its recycled copper products, after selling 4,877 tons during the period. This marks a significant contribution from Customer A, which generated RMB326 million in revenue, representing over 10% of the Group's total revenue for the period. In contrast, Customers B and C, who were major contributors in the previous period, contributed less than 10% of the revenue in 2025. The Group recorded a loss before tax of RMB221.66 million for the period. The financial results also included VAT refunds, government grants, and subsidies amounting to RMB33.29 million. The Group continues to face challenges, with its communication cables and power transmission and distribution businesses not yet resumed due to insufficient working capital and unfavorable market conditions in the real estate sector. However, the company remains optimistic about its long-term business outlook and plans to resume these businesses once the real estate market stabilizes and sufficient working capital is secured.
