China National Building Material Company (HKG:3323) reported 1.36 billion yuan in attributable profit for the first half of 2025, swinging from a loss of 2.02 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Thursday.
Earnings per share were 0.172 yuan, compared with a loss of 0.239 yuan in the prior year.
Analysts at Visible Alpha forecasted earnings of 0.15 yuan.
Revenue remained largely flat at 83.28 billion yuan, figures showed.
Analysts at Visible Alpha estimated 82.88 billion yuan.
Shares of the building materials maker jumped 8% in morning trade Friday.
