Qantas Airways Ltd. has announced an expansion of its popular Perth-Rome service, nearly doubling its capacity for 2026. The airline will extend its seasonal flights by eight weeks, running from May 3 to October 23, and increase the frequency from three to four flights per week during the peak season. This expansion will add over 40 extra services and close to 10,000 seats, offering more options for travelers. The move reinforces Western Australia's status as a gateway to Europe and aims to boost tourism by making it easier for European visitors to explore the region. The non-stop service, first launched in 2022, continues to be a favorite among passengers, particularly those from the east coast of Australia.
