Australian Gold and Copper (ASX:AGC) encountered gold-dominant mineralization during drilling at the Cobar gold project in New South Wales, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
It encountered an intercept of five meters at 19.1 grams-per-tonne grade of gold, 52 g/t grade of silver, 1.3% grade of lead and zinc, or 1,851 g/t grade of gold-equivalent, from 30 meters.
A total of 12 oxide aircore holes totaling 994 meters were completed, targeting near-surface gold and silver.
