HITIQ (ASX:HIQ) secured an order for 100 PROTEQT instrumented mouthguards to support athlete safety monitoring at the Winter Olympics, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The two-year Winter Olympics agreement will integrate the technology into comprehensive monitoring protocols to boost athlete wellbeing, including concussion detection, as well as the protection of the head and neck during high-risk and extreme winter sports disciplines.

It is being independently assessed by the International Federation of Sports Medicine, a leading organization for sports medicine.
