Emmerson Resources (ASX:ERM) said it intersected shallow high-grade zones of gold mineralization during reverse circulation drilling at the White Devil gold project in the Northern Territory, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

Drilling confirmed the mineralization to the west and extended the shallow western portion of the mineral resource. It encountered intercepts of 15 meters at 6.78 grams per tonne grade of gold from 49 meters, as well as 15 meters at 5.64g/t grade of gold from surface.

The results from the drilling are being incorporated into an updated mineral resource estimate, expected in October.
