Sunstone Metals (ASX:STM) expanded known mineralization footprint at its Bramaderos project in Ecuador following the release of results from geological mapping and rock channel-sampling, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Sampling identified mineralization at the Copete and Brama porphyry systems, expanding the footprint of the stock work mineralization at Copete and uncovering a new gold-mineralized epithermal corridor at Brama, the filing said.
The company is conducting geological mapping and surface sampling over the gold-in-soil anomalies at the northern margin of the Brama-Alba orebody to refine resource expansion areas, per the filing.
