Shares of Select Harvests (ASX:SHV) fell nearly 2% in recent Thursday trade after the company, in a late Wednesday Australian bourse filing, said it detected varroa mite in bees at the Jubilee Orchard in South Australia.
A report was made to the Department of Primary Industries and Regions, and the hives at the orchard have been isolated on site, the filing said.
The company said the matter will not have a material impact on its financial results.
