Superior Resources (ASX:SPQ) lodged four new exploration permits for mineral applications, covering 1,295 square kilometers, expanding its Greenvale project in Queensland to 3,602 square kilometers, representing a 56% increase in project area, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The new applications extend across volcanic suites with strong potential for porphyry copper-gold mineralization.
The firm has begun historical data compilation and targeting and will begin exploration work once the applications are granted.
