GDEV Inc., an international gaming and entertainment company, announced its unaudited financial results for the second quarter and first half of 2025. In the second quarter of 2025, the company reported a revenue increase of 13% year-over-year, reaching $120 million, primarily due to improved revenue recognition processes for in-app purchases. The profit for the period, net of tax, stood at $17 million, up from $15 million in the same period of 2024. Adjusted EBITDA also saw a rise, reaching $22 million compared to $17 million in Q2 2024. However, cash flows from operating activities were negative at $10 million, contrasting with the positive $11 million recorded in the same quarter of the previous year. This decline was primarily attributed to a decrease in bookings and an increase in marketing expenses. Selling and marketing expenses rose by 11% year-over-year to $53 million, driven by testing new areas in performance marketing. GDEV Inc. holds a strong liquidity position of $932 million, providing substantial resources for potential future strategic investments.
