Triumph New Energy (HKG:1108) widened its attributable loss in the first half of 2025 to 449 million yuan from 54.8 million yuan in the year-ago period, an Aug. 29 filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.
Shares of the glassmaker were up nearly 2% in Monday afternoon trading.
Loss per share rose to 0.70 yuan in the six months from 0.08 yuan in the corresponding period of the last year.
Operating revenue fell 44% to 1.67 billion yuan in the period from 2.98 billion yuan a year prior, due to an insufficient demand in the photovoltaic glass market and a lower selling volume and price.
