Orezone Gold (ASX:ORE) confirmed that it has not received any request from the Government of Burkina Faso to purchase an equity ownership interest in the Bomboré Gold Mine, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The company said it is confident that it will not receive such a request, given the reassurance provided by the government and its understanding of the situation, and has scheduled an in-person meeting with the government this week to confirm.
