S2 Resources (ASX:S2R) has started a 200-meter reverse circulation drilling program at its West Murchison project in Western Australia to test the source of soil anomaly, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Results from the drilling are expected to be received by early October, the filing said.

Shares of the company fell 4% and earlier hit a 52-week high.
