Ramaco Resources Inc. has announced the retention of Hatch Ltd. to lead the Pre-Feasibility Study $(PFS)$ for its Brook Mine rare earth elements and critical minerals project. This initiative marks a significant advancement in Ramaco's strategy to develop the first new rare earth mine and refining project in the United States since 1952. Hatch, selected for its technical expertise in rare earth processing, will oversee the test-work program, pilot plant design, and process optimization. The PFS is expected to serve as a foundational document for future permitting, investment, and offtake discussions, with the project estimated to contain 1.7 million tons of total rare earth oxide. This development aims to capitalize on increasing interest from both government and commercial stakeholders.
