Stocks in Singapore were flat Monday, as the FTSE Straits Times Index held steady at 4308.52.
Among local companies with a market cap of at least 1 billion Singapore dollars ($778.9 million), BRC Asia was the biggest leader during the session, adding 4.9%, and Frasers Property rose 3.9%. Yangzijiang Fin Hldg rounded out the top three movers, as shares gained 3.8%.
Thomson Medical Group was the biggest laggard, declining 1.7%, followed by shares of Singapore Telecom, which declined 1.4%. Shares of IFAST slipped 0.6%.
On the currency front, the WSJ Dollar Index was flat at 95.02. The U.S. dollar strengthened 0.1% against the Singapore dollar to S$1.28.
In the bond markets, the 10-year Singaporean government bond yield fell 4.5 basis points to 1.825%.
