The Federal Reserve Board said it was terminating its enforcement action against Sumitomo Mitsui, a Japanese bank.
The Fed has begun the action in 2019, claiming the bank's New York branch violated anti-money laundering regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
At the time, the bank agreed to a consent agreement, mandating that it submit several plans to ensure compliance with anti-money laundering rules.
