Sept 10 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening higher on Wednesday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.1%.

* ASSOCIATED BRITISH FOODS: Associated British Foods ABF.L said underlying sales at its Primark clothing business are expected to be down around 2% in its second half to September 13, reflecting a subdued consumer environment in continental Europe.

* SERICA ENERGY: Britain's Serica Energy SQZ.L cut its 2025 production outlook on Wednesday to 29,000–32,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd), citing a temporary production reduction at the Triton floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel.

* VISTRY: British homebuilder Vistry VTYV.L reported a 33.2% drop in adjusted pre-tax profit for the first half of 2025, and said market conditions softened in the second quarter as affordability challenges weighed on demand.

* WICKES GROUP: British home improvement retailer Wickes Group WIX.L reported a nearly 17% rise in half-year profit, helped by membership growth in its loyalty programme for trade professionals and increased do-it-yourself sales.

* BURFORD CAPITAL: Burford Capital BURF.L said on Tuesday that it has made a minority investment in London-based legal industry advisory firm Kindleworth, as the litigation funding giant pushes to invest directly in more law firms.

* UNILEVER: Ben & Jerry's co-founder Ben Cohen said on Tuesday that the ice cream brand had, amid tension with it parent Unilever ULVR.L, tried to engineer a sale to investors at a fair market value between $1.5-$2.5 billion, which had been knocked back.

* COMMODITIES: Oil prices rose on Wednesday, gold prices edged higher holding above the critical $3,600-per-ounce level, and copper prices in London inched higher buoyed by a landmark planned merger between Anglo American and Teck Resources.
