Raffles Education (SGX:NR7) secured retail investor Ng San Tiong as a subscriber to its third tranche issue of bonds, according to a Monday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Shares of the company were up nearly 2% in Tuesday trading.

Ng agreed to subscribe to SG$1 million worth of bonds, the filing stated.

Proceeds from the issue will be used to refinance some of the group's borrowings or for working capital.
