Hanwha Aerospace (KRX:012450) and British aerospace company BAE Systems signed a contract to equip next-generation anti-jamming global positioning system (GPS) technology into the former's Deep Strike Capability precision-guided weapon system, according to a Friday release.
The collaboration aims to secure advanced electronic warfare protection technology to protect the South Korean aerospace firm's guided weapon systems, the company's Head of PGM Business Group Billy Boowhan Lee said.
The Deep Strike Capability system, designed for multi-range rocket launches and adaptable for diverse missions, will also satisfy NATO interoperability requirements.
