GMR Airports (NSE:GMRAIRPORT, BOM:532754) has incorporated a special purpose vehicle named "GMR Cargo and Logistics", according to a Friday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
The new entity will undertake the cargo city project at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, India, awarded to the company by the Delhi International Airport (DIAL).
The SPV has been formed as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company with an initial paid-up share capital of 100 million Indian rupees divided into 10 million equity shares of 10 rupees each.
