WPG's (TPE:3702) revenue of dropped 7.1% annually to NT$78.8 billion in August from NT$84.9 billion, according to a Wednesday Taiwan Exchange filing.

Shares slid about 3% in Thursday's afternoon trade.

Monthly, the figure was down 3% from NT$76.6 billion, the semiconductor components distributor said.

Year-to-date revenue, however, jumped 21% to NT$654.7 billion from NT$543.3 billion in the same period last year, it said.
