Mm2 Asia's (SGX:1B0) subsidiary, MM2 Star Screen, was directed by the Court of Melaka to proceed with the filing of a defense in its legal proceedings with Hektar REIT, according to a Monday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

This comes after the subsidiary decided not to proceed with recording the proposed judgment consent.

Meanwhile, Hektar REIT has been directed to file a reply to the defense, with the next case management fixed for Oct. 14.
