Insulet (PODD) said Tuesday it has appointed Flavia Pease as chief financial officer, effective Sept. 30.

Pease will join the company from Charles River Laboratories (CRL), where she most recently served as the CFO. She will succeed Ana Maria Chadwick, who will become a senior adviser to Insulet for a smooth transition, according to the company.

Insulet also said it anticipates exceeding its previously issued Q3 total revenue growth outlook due to "strong" new customer starts in both the US and global markets.
