Ballymore Resources (ASX:BMR) said it is fast-tracking preparations to drill test for southern extensions of the Duffer Lode fault extension at its Dittmer gold project in Queensland, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
It received final assay results for the Dittmer stage five drilling program and significant drilling results reported up to 0.4 meters at 221.31 grams-per-tonne grade of gold, 70.2 g/t grade of silver, and 2.71% grade of copper.
The extension of the current underground access will begin immediately following final approval for the new mining lease, MLA100351, per the filing.
It plans to conduct around 3,000 meters of drilling during this next phase of resource delineation.
The firm's shares jumped 5% in recent trading on Tuesday.
