Magnetic Resources (ASX:MAU) secured all the mining leases related to its Lady Julie Gold Project in Western Australia, signaling the start of production, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
In a feasibility study released in late July, the company had stated a nine-year life of mine of the project, with low-cost gold production of 1 million ounces.
The project, located in Eastern Goldfields, has the potential to generate a pre-tax net present value of AU$970 million for the company.
