NZME (ASX:NZM, NZE:NZM) said that private equity investor and the firm's director James T. Grenon increased his stake in the firm to almost 18% after buying 3.7 million ordinary shares in an on-market transaction on Friday, according to Monday filings with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
The total shares held by Grenon rose to 33,694,802 as of Friday from 29,994,802, representing an almost 16% stake previously.
