NH3 Clean Energy (ASX:NH3) began environmental surveys at the WAH2 clean ammonia project in Western Australia with a fauna survey, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The survey will cover the entire 40-hectare land allocation and provide data for the initial phase one development and areas earmarked for future expansion.

It engaged consultant Eco Logical Australia, which will work with NH3's regulatory approval lead, Liz Sully.
