Great Dirt Resources (ASX:GR8) said it is conducting exploration work at the Doherty manganese project in New South Wales to improve its geological understanding and refine the manganese prospectivity models, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The program includes geophysical data processing, HyLogger-3 spectral scanning, geochemical and petrographic analyses, alongside hypothesis-driven geological research to improve exploration targeting.
It is also conducting a multi-faceted review focused on applying advanced filters to enhance magnetic and radiometric data.
The firm's shares rose over 2% in recent trading on Thursday.
