Yadea Group Holdings (HKG:1585) will launch its first model in Japan this November, aiming to undercut Honda (TYO:7267) and Yamaha (TYO:7272) with pricing about 30% lower than competing scooters, Nikkei Asia reported Thursday.
The Yadea Porta, a compact Class 1 moped with a 60-kilometer range, will retail at 217,800 yen, or about $1,470, the report said.
